We had the North West Camera Club in tonight to take our promotional photographs for the show.

Tonight the Turnpikers turned their attention to their dance routines. This year’s choreographer is our very own Sophie Mitchell. She is very busy indeed learning her lines for the lead role of ‘Dick’ as well as choreographing our dance routines and being the Secretary on the committee!

Rehearsals tonight were very entertaining and the Turnpikers were very enthusiastic!

This week the Turnpikers started to block the scenes of Act 1 of Dick Whittington. For those of you who are not from a theatrical background, this means that the Director directs the actors where to stand in each scene.

The Turnpikers are loving this script already and cannot wait to perform it for their audiences!

There’s no rest for the wicked as they say!

The Turnpikers were back rehearsing this week after a successful production of ‘Blood Brothers’ last week, but this week we turned our heads to our Christmas pantomime. We completed our first full read through of the script which promises to entertain everyone – oh yes it is!
