The Witches Auditions

We had a fantastic time tonight meeting members old and new for our auditions for The Witches.

The Turnpikers were very enthusiastic about this Roald Dahl classic that has been adapted by David Wood.

Well we have finally made it to show week!

The stage has now been erected and Cinderella's coach is in situ ready for this week’s performances.

Last chance to get your magical ticket to Leigh’s Christmas pantomime...

Turnpike Community Theatre is about to premier their all new production of Cinderella with performances starting next week. However, due to record-breaking ticket sales three of the performances have now sold out and there are limited seats available for the remaining shows. Now is your chance to get yourself a ticket to join Cinderella and the cast on their magical journey from rags to riches.

As part of the Christmas production, Turnpike are encouraging all the young princes and princesses from across the area to come and watch this magical new production which will be performed at the Turnpike Gallery in Leigh – the town’s central arts venue. After each performance, Cinderella and Prince Charming will be on hand to meet the audience and to have their photographs taken with all the princes and princesses in the audience; especially those in costume!

Turnpike’s very own princess, Ashley Cassidy, said, “Cinderella is such an amazing story and I am so excited to be playing the role of Cinderella. Prince Charming and I are also very excited to meet all the other princes and princesses who come to watch the production.”

Speaking about the production, Turnpike’s chairperson, Gill David, said, “Having watched the rehearsals and seen the sets, costumes and props for this production, I am confident that it will be a wonderful night out for the whole family. The show has something for everyone and with limited numbers of tickets available I strongly urge you to get your ticket before it is too late!”

Performances will be held at the Turnpike Gallery in Leigh and tickets are still available for performances on Tuesday 29th, Wednesday 30th November and Thursday 1st December. Tickets are priced at £5 and £4.50 (concessions) and family tickets (2 adults & 2 children) are also available priced £17-00. You are urged to buy tickets ahead of the performances to avoid disappointment. All tickets purchased on the night of the performance will be charged at £5.50 per person.
